Introduction

CreditLine is a closed joint-stock company established under the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with Unified National Number (7042944996), having its address at: 3283 Anas Bin Malik Road, Al Narjis District, 8536 Riyadh 13323, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and licensed and supervised by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the application and website of CreditLine. In order to benefit from Credit Lineservices, the customer must read and agree to these Terms and Conditions prior to registration, as such approval is a fundamental requirement for completing the registration process and obtaining the services. CreditLine also conducts Know Your Customer (KYC) checks to verify the customer’s eligibility to benefit from its services.

CreditLine reserves the right to amend, update, or remove any provision of these Terms and Conditions at any time, provided that customers are notified of such changes at least thirty (30) days prior to their effective date through the contact details registered in the application or website. All amendments shall be binding on all users and beneficiaries of CreditLine services.

By registering for CreditLine electronic services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Definitions

Unless the context requires otherwise, the following terms shall have the meanings assigned to them below:

  • SAMA: The Saudi Central Bank.
  • Registration: The process of creating an account through the CreditLine website or application to benefit from electronic services.
  • CreditLine: CreditLine Company licensed and supervised by the Saudi Central Bank.
  • Customer: Any person who registers for, uses CreditLine services, or applies for financing.
  • Account: The electronic account created for the customer with CreditLine.
  • Electronic Services: The application, website, and approved digital channels of CreditLine.
  • Financing: The financing product provided by CreditLine in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and approved internal policies.
  • SIMAH: The Saudi Credit Bureau.
  • Open Banking:A service that allows, upon the customer’s consent, access to certain financial data through a licensed or authorized provider for the purpose of assessing creditworthiness and evaluating financing applications.
  • Disclosure Summary: The document or screen containing the key information relating to the financing before completion.
  • Fees and Charges: Amounts disclosed to the customer in consideration of services or financing in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Registration and Eligibility

To benefit from CreditLine services, the customer must hold a Saudi National ID or a valid residency permit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, meet the minimum age requirement approved by CreditLine in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations, and possess full legal and contractual capacity.

The customer under takes to provide accurate, complete, and updated information when registering or using the services and shall promptly update such information upon any material change.

Creating an account or submitting a financing request shall not constitute automatic approval for financing, as all applications are subject to evaluation and verification in accordance with CreditLine approved policies.

 

AccountCreation and Usage

The account shall be created through the application or website using approved verification methods, including the National Unified Access Platform (NAFATH) or any other digital verification methods approved by CreditLine.

The customer shall maintain the confidentiality of login credentials and account-related verification codes and shall be responsible for all activities conducted through the account unless proven otherwise.

CreditLine reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate the account in the event of violation of these Terms and Conditions or any applicable laws and regulations.

Verification and Credit Information

The customer authorizes CreditLine to verify the customer’s identity, data, and information through approved entities and sources, including governmental authorities, verification service providers, the Saudi Credit Bureau (SIMAH), and Open Banking service providers — subject to customer consent — for the purposes of verification, credit worthiness assessment, financing evaluation, and management of the financing relationship.

CreditLine may request any additional information or supporting documents it deems necessary and may reject an application or suspend services in the event that verification requirements are not met or where inaccurate information or regulatory violations are suspected.

Financing Request and Repayment

Financing applications shall be submitted through CreditLine approved electronic channels and shall be subject to evaluation and approval in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations.

Prior to completing the financing process, the customer shall be provided with the Disclosure Summary and Financing Agreement containing the key financing information, including financing amount, repayment term, fees, charges, and due installments.

The customer undertakes to repay all due amounts on their respective due dates in accordance with the and Disclosure Summary. CreditLine reserves the right to take the necessary legal and regulatory actions in the event of delayed payment order fault.

Fees and Charges

Fees and charges relating to services or financing shall be disclosed to the customer prior to completing the transaction in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Certain services or transactions may also besubject to governmental fees or taxes in accordance with the laws andregulations applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

CustomerObligations

The customer shall:

  1. Provide accurate, complete, and updated information.
  2. Use the services solely for lawful purposes.
  3. Refrain from misusing the application, website, or services provided.
  4. Maintain the confidentiality of account information and not share it with any third party.
  5. Fulfill all financial obligations on their due dates.
  6. Cooperate with CreditLine and provide any additional information or documents upon request.

CreditLine reserves the right to take appropriate action in the event of a breach of these obligations, including rejection of applications, suspension of accounts, termination of the financing relationship, or taking any legal or regulatory action deemed necessary.

 

Data Protection and Privacy

CreditLine is committed to protecting customers’ personal data and processing it in accordance with the laws and regulations applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and the instructions issued by the Saudi Central Bank.

The collection, use, processing, and disclosure of personal data shall be governed by the approved Privacy Policy published on the application and website. The customer’s use of the services shall constitute acceptance of the terms set out therein.

Electronic Notifications and Approvals

The customer agrees to receive notifications and communications relating to services or financing through the application, SMS messages, email,or any communication method approved by CreditLine.

The customer further acknowledges that electronic approvals,electronic signatures, and verification codes shall constitute valid and binding means of evidencing consent and concluding transactions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

CreditLine also provides dedicated channels for receiving customer inquiries and complaints through the application, website, or approved communication channels, which shall be handled in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Intellectual Property

The CreditLine platform and all trademarks associated with its products and services are registered trademarks and may not be copied, imitated, or used in any form without prior written consent from CreditLine.

All pages, graphics, custom designs, texts,content, products, services, technologies used or derived therefrom, and tradedress are exclusive intellectual property of CreditLine and may not be copied,reproduced, used, or exploited by any means without prior written authorizationfrom CreditLine.

Governing Lawand Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed inaccordance with the laws and regulations applicable in the Kingdom of SaudiArabia.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions that cannot be resolved amicably shall be referred to the competent judicial authorities in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in accordance with applicable laws and procedures.

Suspension /Restriction / Termination of Account

Creditine may suspend, close, or restrict access to the account or services in cases including, but not limited to, breach of these Terms and Conditions, misuse of login credentials or verification codes, ongoing regulatory investigations, customer requests to close the account after settlement of obligations, technical failures or maintenance, or suspected violations of SAMA instructions or applicable laws.

Suchsuspension or termination shall not affect any outstanding financialobligations owed by the customer prior to the suspension or termination date.

Customer Acknowledgments and Consents

The customer acknowledges and agrees to the following:

1.     The accuracy, completeness, and correctness of all information and data provided.

2.     Possessing full legal and contractual capacity to use the services and enter into agreements.

3.     Authorizing CreditLine to verify the customer’s information, inquire about the customer’s credit record, and share credit information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

4.     Consent to the use of Open Banking services for assessing creditworthiness and evaluating financing requests.

5.     Acknowledgment of the legitimacy of the source of funds and commitment to provide any information or documents requested by CreditLine or competent authorities.

6.     Consent to receive electronic notifications and communications relating to services and financing.

7.     Confirmation of having reviewed andagreed to these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the DisclosureSummary.

8.     Acceptance of responsibility for the use of the website, application, or services, without prejudice to the customer’s statutory rights.

Disclaimer

CreditLine exercises reasonable care to ensure the continuity and availability of electronic services. However, CreditLine shall not be liable for any interruptions, failures, or losses resulting from circumstances beyond its control or arising from the customer’s misuse of the services or violation of these Terms and Conditions, without prejudice to the customer’s rights granted under applicable laws and regulations.

Language

These Terms and Conditions are made available in both Arabic and English. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the two versions, the Arabic version shall prevail and be deemed the binding version unless otherwise required by applicable laws or regulations.
